Hello,
I’m a final year PhD student who is just finishing writing up my thesis on 3D/4D printing of inflated and temporospatially varying (by elastic strain) structures. The particular use is for in-vivo artificial muscles (dielectric elastomer actuators)
My website (linked above) shows some examples of the various 3D printer parts i’ve built to achieve this – and particularly :
http://fergalcoulter.eu/?p=73
shows an example of a print structure in two forms (inflated / deflated)
I would be very interested in applying to speak at your conference, and would like more information (if you think my work might be of interest.)
Thank you
Fergal Coulter
